Multihouse
Creative Engine
As a participant in Elon University’s Los Angeles program, I had the opportunity to intern in the heart of Hollywood for the spring months of February to May. Being brought on as a Production Assistant Intern at the Multihouse Creative Engine proved to be a turning point in my professional development, allowing me to discover each and every facet of production. With this opportunity outside of the Elon bubble, I have gained unique perspectives into how the entertainment industry operates and began to narrow down what I want my role to be in it.

Pre-Production
Research: Identified potential sponsors aligning with the targeted demographic of projects in development; Tracked down grants for projects in development.
Pitch Decks: Developed visually appealing pitch decks, keeping in mind the audience and purpose during a presentation; Gained an in-depth understanding of each client and their needs to effectively generate content ideas.
Production
Videographer: Tasked with capturing b-roll footage of various Outfest events from panels to the 2023 Outfest Film Festival; Self-produced short films using industry-grade cameras like the Sony a7S III.
Grip / Production Assistant: Worked with the Multihouse team as a grip production assistant on the set of a promotional shoot for an upcoming podcast; Attentively operated sound and lighting equipment while meeting the standards of etiquette on set.
Post-Production
Editing: Produced sample short-form promotional content for client social platforms; Participated in Adobe Premiere Pro editing workshops to improve my editing workflow skills.
Other
Screenwriting: Developed sample promotional scripts for clients and pitched them to Multihouse management.

Rental Service: Digitally organized, uploaded, and logged equipment to post onto the Multihouse ShareGrid profile.

Community Service: Participated in Multihouse hosted community trash cleanup of N Saint Andrews Place outside Second Home.
On my last day interning at Multihouse, I was tasked with creating a 30-second video haiku with the theme of "Urban Jungle". An Urban Jungle depicts the environment of Second Home, Los Angeles. This project was shot on a Sony ZV-1 and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro.
